MAINTENANCE ISSUES
Please read the information below before contacting the office.
Emergency Issues: Contact company or agency first and then contact
Sutro second.
Gas Leak - PG&E @ 1-800-743-500 or The Fire Department (911)
depending on the severity. Refrain from using electrical devices when
gas is present.
Crime or Fire - Dial 911
Water Leaks - For major leaks turn off the water valve to the broken pipe
or to the exterior water main, if you can locate it, until a contractor arrives.
Do everything within your power to contain any leaking or flooding and, if
necessary, contact other residents who may be affected by the leak. For
minor leaks, contact us to schedule repairs.
Electrical problems are not considered emergencies unless there is a risk
of fire.
The following maintenance issues are NOT generally considered
emergencies:
* Refrigerator not working
* Oven not working
* Lock-outs
* Pest control
* No Hot Water: This may be considered an emergency ONLY if there
has been no hot water for an extended period of time.
*Heater Issues: This may be considered an emergency ONLY if the
outside temperature is falling below 50 degrees. In the case of gas
heat, especially if you smell gas (a rotten egg smell) contact PG&E
immediately (800-743-5000) to report the problem.
